It’s with regret that we’ve had to postpone our event scheduled for the 28th of March:
Message from Mayor’s Office:
Following the government’s announcement to impose self-distancing activity across the UK, I am writing to advise that the Celebration of Style and Culture event scheduled to be held on Saturday 28th March should be postponed until further notice when we are confident that it will not be a risk to public health.
The council is an active part of the response to this unprecedented situation. As such we all have a responsibility to our residents to ensure we help to delay the spread of this virus and support vulnerable groups.
Descendants would like to thank all of the people who were going to give up their time to support this event, we’re very grateful to have had your energy and time and hopefully we’ll reschedule the event in the future.
The Mayor of Ealing Councillor Dr. Abdullah Gulaid invites you to an evening with Descendants, celebrating the style and culture of Africa and the Caribbean.
We’re really delighted to be running this event with the Mayor as it’s the last one we’ll do with him as his charity of the year.
It promises to be an entertaining and enlightening evening!
