We have had a lot of contributions so far and the deadline for last contributions will be Monday 9th January 2012.

Reggae Project

Last Descendants Project at Priory

Over the years we have worked on numerous projects. This coming term we will be working on a Reggae music project. The project will entail looking at the history of Reggae, the impact the music has made on all genre of music, including classical and pop music. We will be exploring the key people who have promoted the music and brought it to a much wider audience for example, Bob Marley or otherwise known as the King of Reggae.

This project will be starting on Friday 20th January, culminating in a performance show on Saturday 25th February 2012.

Final Farewell to the Priory Community Centre

After 18 years at Priory Community Centre Acton Lane, Descendants has been asked to leave as they are turning the community centre into a school. We are currently searching for new premises and we appeal to anyone who is able to help us relocate. Please contact Margaret Noel. After 19 years we have accumulated a lot of historical information and documents (such as pictures, costumes and props) that we need to house. Thank you.
