We meet the Queen

In June 2002 34 of Descendants young people performed at eh Golden Jubilee parade. The children danced in front of the royal party which included, the Queen, the Duke, Price Charles and his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, along with other members of the Royal family.

Twelve parents and supervisors sang with Patti Boulayes’s 5000 strong Jubilee choir. This was an amazing once in a lifetime experience for all who attended as they witnessed and were part of making history.

Three weeks later 20 young people met the Queen when Descendants were invited to perform at Gunnersbury Park when the Queen visited as part of her Jubilee tour. Descendants young people actually met the Queen and they were photographed laughing and chatting with her.
