One of the biggest events in the Descendants calender, The Dr John Roberts CBE Q.C Achievement Awards ceremony was established in 2005, by Descendants founder Margaret Noel. The awards recognise the achievements and attainments of children and young people of African and Caribbean descent with schools in Ealing asked to nominate their outstanding pupils.
This year the Annual Achievement Awards will be held at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Ealing.
However there is a possibility that we may need to host this event virtually. For this reason we are asking nominating teachers to record a short audio/video extract from their nomination submission, about why they have nominated the young person.
