Committee member and Descendants parent Fiona Hinds has completed the London Marathon today, taking on 26.2 miles in support of Descendants and their 21st Anniversary Achievement Awards taking place in July.

This is her second run for the charity, following her    participation in the Vitality Run in 2025, continuing her commitment to supporting young people of African and Caribbean heritage.

Each of her miles represents the years of impact the Achievement Awards have had in recognising and       celebrating youth excellence, helping to inspire           confidence, ambition and pride in the next generation.

An incredible achievement and a powerful show of   dedication to the community.
